Salvador Gutierrez is an associate attorney at Illinois Advocates, LLC. Mr. Gutierrez's focus is consumer bankruptcy, where he has assisted struggling families throughout the state of Illinois get out of debt. He has eliminated millions of dollars in credit card debt, medical bills, personal loans, mortgage arrears, automobile arrears, tickets and other debt. Mr. Gutierrez is also experienced in a variety of civil legal matters including landlord tenant issues.
Mr. Gutierrez is a member of the Illinois Bar, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Bar and the Central District of Illinois. In 2003, he received his Juris Doctorate from DePaul University – College of Law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in both History and Political Science from Loyola University in 2000.
During law school, Mr. Gutierrez participated in DePaul Law School's Death Penalty Clinic where he assisted in defending several death row inmates. He is a member of the Illinois Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association.
