Tara is an Associate Attorney at CTM Legal Group. Tara earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology with Honors at the University of Notre Dame in 2017. In 2020, Tara received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She graduated with a Public Interest and Social Justice Certificate. During law school, Tara participated in multiple clinics including the Health Justice Project where she provided direct legal representation for clients on public benefits and education matters, as well as the Civitas Child Law Legislation and Policy clinic where she drafted legislation that amended the Illinois Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act. Tara was a member of the Public Interest Law Reporter at Loyola. She published two articles with the journal titled The School to Prison Pipeline: Widespread Disparities in School Discipline Based on Race and The Wealth Gap: Through the Lens of Governmental Policies and Racial Inequality in Housing.
 
Tara was an Equal Justice America fellow with Legal Aid Chicago and a PILI intern with CARPLS and the ACLU of Chicago. While with Legal Aid Chicago she worked on a wide array of domestic relations issues including guardianship, divorce, education, and domestic violence matters. With CARPLS, Tara supported self represented litigants throughout their family law matters.  
 
Tara was admitted to the Illinois Bar in January of 2021. She focuses primarily on family law and probate. Tara is a member of the Chicago Bar Association.
