Angie is dedicated to defending the rights and interests of her clients at every stage of their case. In the Criminal Defense arena, Angie is experienced in defending against a range of criminal and traffic offenses. This includes misdemeanors (DUI, battery, driving while suspended/revoked, misdemeanor domestic violence) and felonies (gun charges, felony DUI, felony domestic violence). Angie is also well-versed in obtaining favorable outcomes in traffic cases, both for everyday drivers and for CDL holders seeking to avoid a serious infraction on their background.
Angie is knowledgeable in filing expungement and sealing petitions, and representing clients at the subsequent hearing(s). She knows the impact that a criminal background can have on employment, housing, and professional licensing. Angie takes seriously the expungement and sealing process so that her clients may have better opportunities in the future.
Angie represents both petitioners and respondents in Order of Protection and Stalking/No Contact Order cases. Whether clients are seeking to protect themselves and loved ones, or seeking defense against a meritless protective order placed against them, Angie provides guidance and zealous advocacy.
Additionally, Angie handles FOID appeals, assisting individuals in navigating the intricate process of restoring their firearm rights. She is experienced in both the administrative appeal process and with the appeal process in circuit court.
Angie also assists clients in seeking reinstatement of their Driver's License following a suspension or revocation. This includes preparation and/or representation for both formal and informal hearings subsequent to a DUI revocation/suspension, and Safety & Responsibility hearings.
Furthermore, Angie handles administrative hearings with cities, municipalities, and villages. This includes delinquent utility matters, property citations, and ordinance violations.
Angie received her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 2019 and graduated with an accompanying certificate in Criminal Law. While in law school, Angie worked under attorney supervision with the Cook County Public Defender on the Homicide Task Force representing clients charged with murder, and with the DePaul Legal Clinic representing clients with misdemeanor charges.
Before law school, Angie attended Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas and received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.
