Scott Browdy is an experienced attorney with over 25 years in complex commercial litigation. As a Partner at CTM Legal Group, he handles high-stakes business disputes, focusing on federal and state taxation controversies, securities, and securities-related employment matters.
Browdy has worked in various legal forums, including jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, self-regulatory organizations, mediations, and appellate courts. His practice serves clients nationwide, from large corporations to medium-sized businesses and entrepreneurs.
After earning his B.A. from the University of Virginia (1984-1987) and his J.D. from Northwestern University (1988-1991), Browdy gained experience at several reputable firms before joining CTM Legal Group. In his current role, he manages complex litigation matters at trial and on appeal.
Previously, Browdy founded Browdy P.C. in November 2011. He also worked as a partner at Ryan Law Firm from November 2011 to December 2015, where he opened the Chicago office and represented clients in multiple states. Before that, he was a partner at Sugar, Friedberg & Felsenthal from October 2008 to November 2011, focusing on taxation controversies, securities defense, and employment matters.
From October 2003 to October 2008, Browdy was a shareholder at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP, where he was part of the securities and commodities litigation defense group. During this time, he handled significant cases involving fraud, unsuitable investments, and regulatory rules violations.
